Kibale Forest National Park, Bigodi Swamp, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park & Lake Mburo National Park – 10 Days & 9 Nights

This 10 days and 9 nights safari takes you to Kibale Forest National Park, Bigodi Swamp, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi National Park & Lake Mburo National Park.
 

Day 1: Arrival

Upon your arrival at the Entebbe Airport you’ll be met by one of our representatives. After departure from the international airport your guide will escort you to the hotel The Boma (B&B) for your night stay.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park

In the morning after finishing your breakfast you will be driven to Entebbe and head west to Fort Portal. Fort Portal lies in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon” and is known for its various tea plantations. You will be driven from this wonderful town to Kibale National Park. You will have your excellent dinner and overnight stay at superior safari tents of Primate Lodge Kibale. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in this trip package

Day 3: Kibale Forest & Bigodi Swamp

Kibale Forest is known for having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa and this forest is known for its chimp tracking. You will start your day with a wonderful guided nature walk inside the tropical rainforest where you can see wide varieties of wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey, black-and-white colobus monkey and wildlife. You have your wonderful lunch and then drive to Bigodi Swamp where you can experience a different nature walk.  Bigodi Swamp is initiated by the local community and is known for its variety of birds and primates. You have your excellent dinner and overnight stay at the superior safari tents of Primate Lodge Kibale. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in this trip package

Day 4: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park

You start your day with a delicious breakfast and you will be driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way Queen Elizabeth National Park you will be driving through region of the Crater Lakes. You can have your wonderful lunch at the pool and relax for some time before starting for the game drive. In this game drive you will see variety of wildlife like warthogs, buffaloes, waterbucks and elephants to name a few. You have your excellent dinner and overnight stay at Kyambura Game Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in this trip package

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

This is again an early start day where you are taken for a morning game drive to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. Till lunch time you spend your day tracking lions, , buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat. After finishing your wonderful lunch you are taken for a luxury boat cruise where you can enjoy your drinks and canapés. You will make your drive in your luxury boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. You can enjoy visiting various birdlife and variety of wildlife like elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos as they take their time cooling off at the shores. You are sure to enjoy each and every moment in your luxury boat cruise which is sure to be an everlasting remembrance in your travel experience. You return to Kyambura Game Lodge and have your wonderful dinner and make your overnight stay here. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in this trip package

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi National Park

You have your breakfast and you would be then driving south to reach Ishasha which is famous for tree climbing lions. You will reach this place passing southern sector of the national park if the road conditions is good. After reaching Ishasha you are set for a short game drive and then driven to Bwindi. The driving path to Bwindi is scenic and you would pass through countryside and you are sure to enjoy the magnificent panoramic natural views. So make sure to have your camera lens active during this drive. You arrive by afternoon in Bwindi National Park which is the home for endangered mountain gorillas. You have your wonderful dinner and make your overnight stay at Mahogany Springs. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in this trip package

Day 7: Gorilla tracking

The activity that is most highlighted in your Bwindi trip is the gorilla tracking. If you are a hiker you are sure to enjoy the tracking in the wonderful natural ecosystem of the park. However you must ensure to cover long distance by walk in steep and muddy path and you might also have rains showering sometimes before you reach the wonderful gorillas. But the path spent is really a worth as you visit them in close angles while they eat, play and rest in the natural environment. You are sure to carry with you an unforgettable experience in your travel. If you feel you do not want to participate in the gorilla tracking you can take a guided forest walk or you can explore the nearby regions and also make a walk to Buhoma Village. . Day 8: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park

Have your breakfast and you will be taken to the impenetrable forest of Bwindi and you will also visit Lake Mburo National Park. As soon as you enter the park you are sure to visit some wildlife. You make a check in inside the park and also go for an enjoyable boat ride on the natural beautiful lake where you can visit variety of bird life and many hippos that are cooling off. You will finish your wonderful dinner early and would get ready for a night game drive in an open Land Cruiser with spot light. This is a special game drive which is for about 3 hours where you have many chances for seeing elusive leopard and of course other nocturnal animals. You make your overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included in this trip package

Day 9: Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala

You start the day early and get ready for a ranger guided safari walk to Lake Mburo. Lake Mburo is the only national park where you can experience a safari on foot.  You finish the guided safari walk and return to have your wonderful breakfast at the lodge for breakfast. Again you have a short game drive while leaving the place and driving back to Kampala. You reach Kampala in the afternoon and you have a relaxed time for exploring the place and doing shopping in the nearby markets and also you can have a relaxing time at the pool. You make your overnight stay at Le Petit Village. . Breakfast and lunch is included in this trip package.

Day 10: Departure

This is your final day of tour and you are sure to be filled with wonderful experience and unforgettable memories in your 10 days tour with which you say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. If you have time for catching your flight you can have our guide take you to visit few interesting and historical sites. You will be dropped at Entebbe Airport for your international flight. Breakfast is included in this trip package.
