These 6 days and 5 nights safari takes you to the Tarangire Lake Manyara Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater and is available in moderate and luxury style.
Day 1:
Depart to Tarangire for morning and afternoon game drives, Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi, and Mkomazi.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons.
The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.
It lies a little distance to the southeast of Lake Manyara and covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Campsite, Lodge or Hotel.
Day 2:
Sunrise game drive. After breakfast proceeds with game drive. Leave for Lake Manyara Park after lunch. Evening game drive at Lake Manyara. Of the 127 square miles (329 km2) of Lake Manyara National Park, the lake’s alkaline waters cover approximately 89 square miles (231 km2).
While most known for baboons, the lake and its environs are also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes.
Giant fig trees and mahogany saw in the groundwater forest immediately around the park gates draw nourishment from the underground springs replenished continuously from crater highlands directly above the Manyara basin.
Leading away from the forest to the fringes of Lake Manyara are the flood plains. To the south are visible the acacia woodlands. Leopards, although in abundance, are hard to get a glimpse of, just like the other elusive carnivores – the lions – of this park. for morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch box. Dinner at Campsite, Lodge or Hotel.
Day 3:
After breakfast drive to Serengeti via Olduvai gorge with picnic lunch box. Game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at Campsite, Lodge or Hotel
Day 4:
Full day game in Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Campsite, Lodge or Hotel.
Day 5:
After breakfast departs Serengeti, and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at Campsite, Lodge or Hotel.
Day 6:
Breakfast. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor with picnic lunch for the tour. Late afternoon ascend and drive back to Arusha.
