Manyara Serengeti & Ngorongoro 4 DAYS & 3 NIGHTS
Day 1:
Drive to Lake Manyara. Of the 127 square miles (329 km2) of Lake Manyara National Park, the lake’s alkaline waters cover approximately 89 square miles (231 km2). While most known for baboons, the lake and its environs are also home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes. Giant fig trees and mahogany saw in the groundwater forest immediately around the park gates draw nourishment from the underground springs replenished continuously from crater highlands directly above the Manyara basin. Leading away from the forest to the fringes of Lake Manyara are the flood plains. To the south are visible the acacia woodlands. Leopards, although in abundance, are hard to get a glimpse of, just like the other elusive carnivores – the lions – of this park. for morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch box. Dinner at Campsite, Lodge or Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch. Game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at Campsite, Lodge or Hotel
Day 3:
Sunrise game drive. Drive back to the camp/lodge for breakfast. After breakfast proceed with game drive till lunchtime. Take your lunch at the camp/lodge thereafter drive to Ngorongoro with game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite/Lodge.
Day 4:
Early morning breakfast then descends down the crater for the tour with picnic lunch. Lunch will be at the hippo poolside. Proceed with the game drive, ascend at 4.00 pm and drive back to Arusha.
