This 5 days and 4 nights safari takes you to the Aberdale National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park & Maasai Mara
Day 1: Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
we would want you to enjoy each minute of your holidaytime and, so we jump right into the adventure. From Nairobi we move directly to an industrial town named as Thika. You can see here, the transformation of urban jungle to cultivated farmland and then you will directly land into the real jungle of Aberdare National Park.Aberdare National Parkis located in the central highlands of Kenya, climbs from 7,000 feet (2,100 metres) to a very cool 14,000 feet (4,300 metres) above sea level. On the raising top land you can enjoy marshlands and bamboo and rainforests and also hear beautiful sounds of roaring waterfalls and streams and enjoy the climate of breezy mountain peaks. Here, you’ll have a chance to spot Africa’s “Big Five” game – the African elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, lion, and black rhinoceros. You can also see various other animals like baboons, Sykes and Columbus monkeys, and even the bongo antelope. After dinner you will have an overnight stay at The Ark Lodge.
Day 2: Aberdares to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast leave to Lake Nakuru National Reserve. Lake Nakuru National Reserve is named for its breath-taking blue-green lake this is a paradise for bird watching as it has nearly 450 bird species and it is a home place for various varieties of birds like water birds and terrestrial species. One can see and enjoy millions of flamingos in this place. After finishing lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge you will be taken for an afternoon safari ride across bush grasslands and yellow acacia woodlands in the park. Here one can visit various animals like white and black rhinos, endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, baboons, and buffalo. After dinner you will have an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Visiting a Maasai Mara is more than a wildlife experience as it offers insight into the culture of the Native Masai Communities of Kenya. The reserve also presents superb opportunities for wildlife photography with its stunning open landscapes and unforgettable sunsets. Based on your trip timing you would have the great chance to see the Eighth Wonder of the World: the Great Wildebeest Migration. The Masai Mara is teeming with wildlife such as wildebeest, giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala and hartebeest. The game reserve is also home to numerous elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. So get ready with your camera to take shots of world’s most astounding natural events. After dinner you will have an overnight stay at Mara Sentrim Lodge.
Day 4: Maasai Mara
Wake up early morning and get ready at 6:30 a.m. to catch the safari into the open bush. As the name suggests “Mara,” which means spotted that is a landscape dotted by fluffy clouds, scrub brush, and towering trees. In your morning visit you will be welcomed by the scenery of the region and the region’s hospitable people. You will visit many wild beasts as the park is home to thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, which make the phenomenal annual migration, known as the Great Migration. You are sure to visit the Maasai Mara Africa’s “Big Five” game which is the five most dangerous animals in the land: the African buffalo, African elephant, black rhinoceros, leopard and lion. After dinner you will have an overnight stay at Mara Sentrim Lodge
Day 5: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
5th day which is the final day of your adventurous remarkable trip. So we wanted to give a farewell to you in the morning which is a balloon safari above the savannah and it is optional as per your choice. Hot air balloon trips can be arranged on most of the Masai Mara safaris and are an excellent way of seeing the grassland plains and abundant wildlife. This balloon safari helps you to have a whole view of Kenya and also you can enjoy seeing wildlife through the illusion of your birds-eye view. As this balloon safari is optional if you do not wish to be put Hot Air Balloon safari, then after breakfast at Mara Sentrim, we will move back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon at Nairobi and we will drop you at your Nairobi hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
